After traveling 130 km from the northwest of Shiraz to Sepidan, we reach Tizab Canyon, where one of the branches of Beshar River passes through and has gifted a pleasant nature.
Beshar Permanent River, which originates from Sepidan Mountains, gives new life to flora and fauna of the region in its traveling path. As a result, it has created one of the many gorgeous natural sights of Fars province. The forests of this promenade, its ever-roaring river, and the lush nature around, have come together to depict a beautiful scenery that delights the heart of every viewer.
Tizab Canyon enjoys the community of different types of trees, such as oak, walnut, and pistacia atlantica. In spring, colorful flowers and blossoms beautify this canyon. Meanwhile, in the pleasant shade of the old willow trees, you can spend an hour resting and listen to the musical harmony of bird's singing and river roaring. The drinkable water of the river makes it a suitable habitat for a variety of fish, and, thus, it has created fishing opportunities for enthusiasts.
Tang-e Tizab River crosses cliffs and slopes on its way, creating small and large waterfalls at its heart. This is the place where you can take a dip during hot summer days. It is where you can follow the river and take in the beauties of nature. The nature lovers visit Tang-e Tizab during the balmy days of April to October each year.
