Qalat village is located 36 kilometers northwest of Shiraz and is located at an altitude of 2065 meters above sea level. This pleasant village has a population of about 7,000 people and is the best option for spending leisure time for the locals.
The people of this village live a semi-traditional life of agriculture, animal husbandry, and horticulture, and some are engaged in the businesses such as weaving, and handicrafts. The dialect of the people of this village is a remnant of Midwestern Fars.
