The beautiful city of Shiraz has many gardens, one of which is the Garden of Paradise or “Jannat”. Jannat Garden has a long history and is one of the most traditional gardens in the city that has been restored so many times since the past.
This garden is located in the south of Shiraz and has an area of 54 hectares, about 27 hectares of which can be used and visited by people. The history of the Jannat Garden dates back to Qajar Period when the mansion of Mushir al-Mulk was still standing. Unfortunately, the building no longer exists.
The space is painted green with tall, beautiful cypresses and pine trees. The area is paved with grass and has several fountains, all of which have created a pleasant atmosphere. The features of this beautiful garden are its fountains, tall and beautiful cedar trees, lawns and flowers, as well as a camp allocated to tourists who visit the city during Nowruz.
