With an area of about 100 hectares, Deh Gerdoo Canyon is among the many hotspots for nature tourism in Fars. It is located 90 kilometers outside Shiraz and on the way from Doshman-Ziari to Noorabad. This beautiful place is named after Deh Gerdoo village and its many walnut trees (Gerdoo means walnut in Farsi).
Deh Gerdoo has a water cave, making it the ideal place for sports such as caving and deep water soloing. The cave is located in a valley covered with walnut and oak trees and apple orchards near the village. Water flows on the valley floor, which makes it a great spot for Canyoning. There, you will get to a small waterfall. Past the waterfall, the river flows into the cave, the mouth of which is slightly sloping. The cave is about 150 meters long, and the water inside about 1.5 meters deep.
