Bamou is one of the national parks of Iran, which is located 27 kilometers outside Zarghan City. This national park takes its name from Bamou Mountain, which is considered the highest point in this area. Bamou national park is about 48,000 hectares and is divided into two parts: east and west. Bamou is located in the middle of Zagros Mountain Range and its nature is a beautiful combination of the slopes of the Zagros and southern Iran. The park is the natural habitat of animals such as rams, ewes, goats, wild pagans and so forth. Plant species such as Shirazi sugarcane, black hazelnut, and Isfahani cross exist in this area as well.
If spring comes early, Bamoo National Park will be full of primroses, tulips, and wild anemones, which are outstanding and mesmerizing in their kind. In addition to all the attractions of this protected area, you can also visit the natural history museum of the area at the entrance. In this museum, a collection of native taxidermy native animals is on display that you can visit.
Bamoo National Park is located northeast of Shiraz. It’s divided into two sections: "Wildlife Resort and Museum" and "Extensive Resort". The existence of different species of wildlife, including mammals and birds, unique natural landscapes, springs and historical monuments attracts many tourists to this place.
